THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE!
godaddy.com changed the format of everything,
so the only way to add our new stuff is to completely re-build our website.
(An example of  'you didn't ask for it but we're giving it to you anyway'
 ---think obamacare)
This very cumbersome (and some might say inconvenient) process
is taking A LOT of time, so please bear with us.
We'll publish the whole website when we get it all done---
I'm working on it ~ one hour/day, so it is a work
 *IN PROGRESS*
When it's done, you will be able to see info about all of our
* 'For Sale' stuff---horses, trailers, tack
* Clinics, shows, and other fun stuff--past, present and future.
IN THE MEANTIME,
please check our facebook page for updates:

If you don't see what you are looking for, please give us a call at
218-686-3838 or email at
glacialridge@hotmail.com
and let us know what we can do for you.
We have many prospects and nice horses available
that are currently being added to the website.

Thanks for your patience and
Please let us know what we can do for you!

HVR Triple Play
May 5, 1995 - May 11, 2012

The shock of Bandit’s sudden death is still so fresh and painful, it’s been hard to think about who this horse really was.  Everything that could be said about a horse---his show record, ROM in reining, points in halter and performance; his wonderful pedigree, which reads like a who’s who in cutting/reining; his great disposition and special relationship with his longtime friend and partner, Jeff Pierce----all the stuff that is always said about any special horse.  Re-reading it made it feel like Bandit was just a horse.  It just wasn’t good enough for me, for Bandit, for Jeff. I needed everyone who had not had the pleasure of meeting this funny little dappled-silver stallion to know just how special he was.

Then, while sweeping the barn aisle last night, it came to me.
Bandit really was “just a horse”, and that was what made him special.
Jeff loved showing off how Bandit would follow him, back, turn, and jog along with him with no halter or lead rope.  Bandit and Jeff often rode in the arena with other stallions and mares in heat.  Bandit worked cows and rode the posse.  Bandit went on many trail rides, often as the “steady Eddie” horse while I introduced a two year old to its first trail ride.
Everyone should be so lucky to have such a “just a horse” in their lives.
Good-bye for now my friend.  You are missed.

Somewhere in time's own space
There must be some sweet pastured place
Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow
Some paradise where horses go,
For by the love that guides my pen
I know great horses live again.
